Analysis and interpretation of river-Shot

Eleven shots is about a man named Olaf. He must marry the song the following day. He rides off a tour and meetings here on the way the elf king's daughters, elf girls. They offered him up to dance, and promises him all kinds of gifts if he just wants to dance with them. Despite this, he refuses the offer of the dance. Elf girls are crazy over he turns them back, and send a curse upon him. He is struck by the curse between his shoulder blades. After that, he sat on his horse, the elves, and rides back to his castle. At the castle gate stands his mother and waiting for him. He tells her about elves, and she discovers that he has been shot dead elf, as he shortly after, at the castle gate, falling to die for. Curse elf girls have thrown over Olufsen makes that "plague and disease" will follow him. The next morning, where the wedding would have been, the bride Olufsen. Oluf's curse requires three died. The bride dies just after she has discovered that Olaf is dead and his mother died shortly after due to grief over Oluf's death.

Eleven shots is a magical show. You can karateristere river shot by a magic show, because it meets many requirements for a. Elf maids are supernatural beings who suddenly come into his life. They come into his life at a precise time. Olaf will soon marry. He must take a big step. He will go from being a young boy, where the family fits him to become an independent man, with his own family. It is often this part of human life, magic shows dealing with. Another characteristic of a magic show is the tragic end of show. Despite Oluf resist elves, go to him badly and he dies along with his bride and mother.

You can share the magic show into phases, after a general 3 phase model. In the first phase are the main characters presented and the conflict warning. In the second phase is the conflict and confrontation with the supernatural creatures place. The protagonist is often subjected to some tests in this phase. The third phase will be rounded conflict, there will be a solution to the problem. The solution may well fall out with the protagonist and the supernatural creatures page. This depends on the protagonist's actions and what time the song is written. The oldest magic shows tend to end tragically, as seen from the protagonist's perspective.

I want to share river shot into the following phases:

First steps 1.-2. stanza. In these verses you will be presented to Olaf and being told he must marry. The chorus, which is after the first stanza, set the mood. You find out there is something strange in the grove. In the second stanza we find out it has something to do with elf girls do. In the third stanza begins the dialogue between Olaf and elves, so I would say that it belongs to the beginning of the conflict.

The second phase is the 3rd-13th stanza. Here is progressing conflict. You get introduced to the supernatural creatures in the form of elfin girls. Here Olaf suffered a review. Can he resist elves or not? In verse 14, he rode home again. Ie, he has come home from the examination, he is strictly regulated and is therefore no longer subject to an examination. The trial took place. Oluf's future has been determined.

The third phase is the 14th-25th stanza. Here come Oluf, who said, back home. He has undergone a review. These verses, I will take with the closing phase, because you realize he has received the Staff of the 13th stanza This is where you find out what terrible fate he will suffer. From 14-25, the penalty settled. Here he gets his punishment to feel. This is the end of his visit to the elves, namely death.

Olaf is young and inexperienced. He has probably lived at home with his family throughout his life, which most of his married a clear, age has. He is afraid for his future. His do not know what it will bring. He shows a strength, because he manages to resist elf girls, despite his doubts about the future.

The song is Olufs fracture never described either as beautiful or clever. This could indicate that Olaf did not find her particularly interesting and attractive. At this time, it was not love, which decided whether the young people should marry or not, but it was more practical reasons, which played their part. But he marries her off duty. (this is a weak character if the bold is not true) Oluf show faithfulness because he was on so slender a belief in a good future, facing the elf girls back.

I would think that the river belongs to the older shoots magic show because its sad and unfair ending. Eleven girls symbolize the conflict within him
